BEYOND THESE WALLS

The Bay Church is committed to sharing the love of Christ in our community.
There is information in the church office or the back of the
auditorium on how to get involved in these outreaches.

SOCKS, UNDERWARE, HYGIENE ITEMS FOR THE HOMELESS

In the back of our auditorium, there are wooden crates where The Bay is collecting new socks and underwear, and hygiene items (such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, lotion, feminine hygiene products, wash clothes)

FOOD PANTRY

Non-perishable items are collected, and then made available to local families and church members in need.

We are currently looking for items to restock the food pantry so we can meet the needs of families in the area.

YEAR ROUND NEEDS: boxed meals, canned meals, cereal, crackers, boxed potatoes, soup, pasta, canned meat/tuna,
spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables, dried beans, canned fruit, rice

HOLIDAY PANTRY ITEMS: boxed dressing, canned yams, cranberry sauce, boxed mashed potatoes, canned turkey gravy,
cake mix & frosting, pudding, Jello

We also are currently collecting single serve packages of non-perishable items that can be made by adding hot water or warmed up in a microwave at a convenient store, such as 7-Eleven, for the homeless. Items such as: Mac & cheese, Cup O’ Noodles, peanut butter, graham crackers, pudding, apple sauce, fruit cups, vegetable cups, raisins
PRESCRIPTION GLASS COLLECTION

Imagine being able to provide clearer vision to children, adults, and seniors, all by simply donating your old eye glasses. Give the gift of sight to those in need. The Bay Church has partnered with the Lions Clubs International to provide prescription eyeglasses to people in need, all over the world! All glasses are tested for their prescription, refurbished, and then given away.

COMMUNITY’S CHILD

According to the Weingart Institute Study on Homelessness (2004), there are 34,000 homeless women & children each night in the county of Los Angeles.

Community’s Child provides women and their infants safe living environments, training and education to end poverty, neglect, abuse, addiction, and hopelessness.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

Pop tab recycling is one of our ongoing fundraising programs. It helps support the mission of providing a comforting “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment in area hospitals.
